Oranjestad jewelry shopping is the heart of Aruba’s jewelry trade. Almost everything sits within a ten-minute walk of the cruise terminal, along L.G. Smith Boulevard, Weststraat and Havenstraat. That is why cruise days are its busiest, and why a plan helps.
The three zones of Oranjestad jewelry shopping
- Renaissance Mall (L.G. Smith Blvd 82): the luxury end. Here you find the Official Rolex Jeweler, the Cartier, Chopard, Tiffany & Co. and TAG Heuer boutiques, and an emerald specialist.
- Royal Plaza Mall and The Harbor Boutiques (L.G. Smith Blvd 90 to 94): several multi-brand jewelers, the Breitling and Omega boutiques, and a pearl specialist.
- Weststraat and Havenstraat: the family-run stores a block from the pier, six or seven of them within two blocks. Loose diamonds, in-house workshops and gold by weight are the specialty.

Hours
Most stores open Monday to Saturday around 9 or 10 am and close at 6 or 7 pm, and the malls run to 7 pm. Several family stores open on Sundays and extend hours when ships are in. We confirm the time when you book with us.
Oranjestad jewelry shopping on a cruise day: a two-hour plan
- Message us the day before with what you want. We have the pieces ready five minutes’ walk from the pier.
- Viewing at 10:00. Compare, and then decide.
- Sizing or engraving is done by 13:00. Collect, walk back, and board with time for a drink at Renaissance Marketplace.
